Gasthaus am Saalestrand in Jena

On Sunday yesterday we went canoeing to Dornburg. A week earlier we had canceled a participant and thus reduced the number. The rejection came from our side, probably not at Saalestrand-Kanu. It's a shame, because we had to pay the price in full, even for the person who had failed, and we received a voucher for it. We think this procedure is not successful and misses the service. Otherwise it was nice, like the years before.

We handball girls from TSV Motor Gispersleben have repeatedly booked a rubber dinghy tour over Saalestrand Kanu this year. We had a super fun and unforgettable day. The team from Saalestrand Kanu could always be relied on for uncomplicated booking as well as for on-site support. You have put all your physical effort into ensuring that everything runs smoothly 😉 We are already looking forward to the next tour with you!

This is the fifth year in a row that I have been using the Saale Beach canoe and I am still as satisfied as I was on the first day. The employees are super friendly, the previous correspondence always runs smoothly and the equipment is of high quality. Special requests are taken into account and, if necessary, overnight stays can be booked. I just love you guys!

We tried stand-up paddling (SUP) for the first time. The employees were super helpful, professional, took their time for all of our questions and they gave us a small study unit at the beginning. We had a lot of fun as beginners and were able to safely master the tour. Highly recommended.

Very well planned tour with my buddies from Jena to Camburg. Two inexperienced paddlers, but everything worked out wonderfully. Seeing the familiar landscape from a different perspective is really fun. Always happy.

We did the 3-day paddling tour from Jena to Naumburg in August 2020 and were extremely satisfied. The tour was very well planned, both in terms of the duration of the paddle, the length of the route and the mooring and accommodation options. The introduction to Jena and the arrival in Naumburg were well looked after. The team was knowledgeable and super friendly. The tour itself was scenic. Can only highly recommend this tour with Saale Beach Canoe!

We were on the way from Kahla to Naumburg by canoe for three days. Material, route explanation and overnight stays were super organized by Saale Strand Kanu - absolutely recommendable

First, if it is not read completely. I definitely recommend Saalestrand Kanu !! Did a 4 day kayak tour from Kahla to Naumburg with 3 people. Had asked earlier, but then didn't book due to indecision. When we decided on Fridays to start the tour on Mondays, we were able to use the offer even at very short notice. Everyone was very friendly and you can always reach someone. On arrival at the specified meeting point we were greeted warmly (although we were a few minutes earlier) and were able to complete all the formalities in peace. Then we got direct instructions (e.g. how to get to our accommodations which were recommended to us in advance which saved a lot of searching) and were able to pack the 3 kayaks and go. The sections were relaxed to drive and we were actually faster every day than the times indicated on the river map. So you can really spend relaxing days on and around the Saale. When we arrived in Naumburg the kayaks were loaded, when asked how we could get to the train station and get back to the car, we were kindly offered to even take us to the train station (even to Jena), which saved us a lot of time. Was a great tour that made you want more!

In the course of a hen party, we decided to go on an inflatable boat tour from Großheringen to Naumburg. It was great fun and we felt well looked after. The guys from @saalestrand Kanu had a lot of patience with our pack and were always available for questions! Highly recommended and we would love to do it again soon! We did the Jena City Tour because we are neither experienced paddlers. The route was just right for us, we had a great time! The Saalestrand-Kanu team is super organized and very friendly. We would love to come back!

We had 3 wonderful days on the Saale with the boat rental Saalestrand Kanu. The preparation and information on the trip on the water and the implementation on the weirs was excellent. Returning to the starting point is very easy here thanks to the train network. We will do this tour again.

I can absolutely recommend it as activities around Jena. Whether canoeing or rubber dinghy: it's a lot of fun!

If you fancy an unforgettable day, then you are exactly right here. We paddled with a group of seven people on the route Großheringen - Naumburg and felt very well. The present team and the boss were all incredibly nice and cool. Telephone accessibility is always available, so you always have a contact person, if something should be. The route is beautifully landscaped and guarantees an impressive natural landscape. Gladly again!

We rented the inflatable boat for the group activity of 11 people. We had an amazing time! The Saalestrand Kanu staff gave us very clear safety instructions and tips how to make the best of our day. The time spent on the boat was very enjoyable and it is suitable for any fitness. I strongly recommend renting this boat and having a lot of fun!

We had a nice tour from Großheringen to Naumburg. The team is well organized. You can be easily reached by phone and if necessary call back immediately for mails. On the day of the trip everything was very relaxed and well on schedule. They were all still friendly and helpful. That was not different with our first tour. We look forward to the next time.

Saalestrand Kanu provides an amazing service for kayaking and other boat trips. We did a 1 day tour, starting from Großheringen, renting a 2xplace kayak. We met in Naumburg, where a super friendly and professional staff meets you and supplies you with all the info, a life vest and a smile, which is always nice to see.. :) after a short trip by bus, we reached the starting point for the 1 day tour, and with the help of a wonderful summer sun, we enjoyed the Sunday on water. All over the 22 km trip we did, there were several stopping points where you can have a drink or a schnitzel if you wish. The water current makes it pretty easy to cover the distance, but some effort is still required to reach the end point, were our car had been waiting for the past 8hours.. ;) after sweating a little, it's nice to see the Saalestrand Kanu staff waiting for you and helping you out of the water! We have been going once or twice a year for the past 4 years, and have always been very happy about everything! And they also provide different tours, from a couple of hours till a couple of days, bigger rubber boats for more than 10 people, stand-up-paddling, Canadians.. the price is also very attractive, especially if you consider the top quality service provided. Immer wieder gerne! :)

This summer we were on the tour between Jena and Camburg with 3 kayaks. We had perfect weather on this day tour and were able to show our friends from Leipzig the beautiful region from the river. Thanks to the Saalestrand-Kanu team for the good organization and guaranteed until next time;)

I paddled with my girlfriend from Jena to Naumburg in 2 days. We had once booked the complete package, with an overnight stay in one of the guest houses directly near the river, boats and equipment and transport back. I can definitely recommend a visit to the wineries;). The tour was super organized, from briefing, overnight stay and return transport, which took place at the agreed time. We had a lot of fun and will definitely be back!
